Day off for rain

We got quite a bit more done yesterday. The masons stayed until about
6:00 p.m. to get things done. This morning it rained like cats and
dogs so they didn't go to work today.

More walls

We are working around some light rain now. Profe. Anselmo and I spent
the better part of the day in Casas Grandes looking at an old Hacienda
and some other property. There are a lot of great adobe homes over
there. This will be in great company.

Here go the first couple of rows

It took a little while to figure out how to do the corners, but here
we go. The first couple of rows were slow going, but we hope to get a
few more guys and finish laying up the walls in a couple of days.

Footings almost done

We are at the end of another week. The weather has been good. The
builder's are excited to finally get another paycheck. They seem a
little camera shy.

Progress on the Adobe Vault Footings

Here are a few pictures of the footings. We finally got one of the
builders to stay in the picture for a minute so that you can see the
scale of everything.

We got some of the biggest rocks we could find for the 70cm x 70
cm(28inx28in) footings.
